Bernstein IP is a boutique law firm based in Manhattan. We offer a full range of legal services, sometimes at a flat rate, related to branding of products and businesses, including representing in UDRP Proceedings brought before the National Arbitration Forum and the World Intellectual Property Organization. Karen J. Bernstein has been associated with two highly-regarded Park Avenue intellectual property and entertainment business law firms in Manhattan. Karen earned her J.D. after a successful career in the advertising and music businesses. She co-wrote “Hot For You,” a Pick of the Week in Billboard Magazine®, and she is a full member of ASCAP. Karen also interned for EMI Recorded Music in the Business Affairs Office while in law school. With her creative, business, and legal experience Karen understands her clients’ needs in creating effective strategies and goals to succeed.

Mr. Bernstein is a senior statesman of Intellectual Property law, having practiced for close to 50 years in the area. His practice consists of all aspects of Intellectual Property law, with particular emphases in litigation in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields and in chemical and pharmaceutical patent application preparation and prosecution. Mr. Bernstein has been an adjunct professor at Temple University Law School where he taught patent litigation. He was also an adjunct professor at Drexel University where he taught patent law to engineers. He is a former member of the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Patent Law Association (now The Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association). He has been a co-planner and speaker at numerous continuing legal education seminars sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Mr. Bernstein received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University and his law degree, with honors, from The George Washington University. Dedicated to public service work, Mr. Bernstein has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. and the Jewish Employment and Vocational Service.
